Dr. Shivaprasad Giliyar Srinivasa is an experienced General and Robotic surgeon in Bangalore with over 14+ years of surgical experience. He is currently practicing as a Consultant – General & Gastrointestinal Surgery at Manipal Hospital Kanakapura Road. Dr. Shivaprasad has advanced expertise in minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic surgeries. His surgical interests span gastrointestinal surgeries, complex hernia repairs, scarless endocrine( Thyroid and parathyroid) surgeries, and thoracoscopic procedures and proctology. He is widely recognized for his exceptional work in Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy (ETS) surgery for hyperhidrosis, a rare and complex procedure performed by only a few surgeons across India.
Dr. Shivaprasad holds an MBBS from Father Muller Medical College (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences) and an MS in General Surgery from Yenepoya University, Mangalore. He further
specialized in FMAS Laparoscopy minimally invasive surgery from Vinayaka Mission Hospital, Salem and obtained a FICRS Robotic surgery (Fellow of International College of Robotic Surgeons) certification from World Laparoscopic Hospital, Gurugram, Delhi. Dr. Shivaprasad remains dedicated to continuous learning and frequently updates his skill set with the latest surgical
innovations and techniques. He is currently a member of WALS
(World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons), AMASI (The Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India), IMA(The Indian Medical Association) and ASI ( The Association of Surgeons of India)
